refrigerant recovery

the recycle guy
Member Posts: 5
I need to recover some refrigerant. I have done it before and have my license but it was years ago. I just need to know how to set the manifold up correctly. Low side and high side i have. I need to know how to set the vacuum pump up so the recovery tank works. Any handy tips would be appreciated.

Refrigerant recovery
I hope you mean recovery unit not vacuum pump. Assuming you meant recovery unit, there should be a "suction" or "inlet" port, this is where you would hook up the center or charging hose. The discharge of the recovery unit goes to the recovery tank. Be sure you purge your manifold hoses and the hoses to and from the recovery unit. Hope that helps.0
