I believe so
I think the word onix came from "nix the oxygen" Is it black or orange? The current black Onix has an aluminum layer for 100% O2 barrier.Bob "hot rod" Rohr

Horizontally 100%....
But parallel, there is a small amount of tubing on each gozinta and gozuta that does not preclude oxygen permeation (the inner tube).
Added up, all of these gozintas and gozoutas HAS to add up to a fairly sizeable target for oxygen INgression.
That said, even copper piped system have points of ingression, i.e. packing glands, flange gaskets, expansion tank diaphragms and so on and so forth.
Regardless of whether it has a barrier or not, the water should still be treated and tested on a regular basis. Onix definately has a barrier tho...
Why do you ask?
