No painted headers or anything........................

because, as I say, "they ain't all meant for a magazine cover" and we have to stay profitable. That being said, we could have "gotten away" with just using the existing header which is up by the ceiling - as it did have the takeoffs and equalizer in the proper places - but wanting real dry steam , we used both tappings, increased to 3" and pitched toward a drip before we even entered the 4" riser where the header begins. I am not crazy about water feeders, but on the recommendation of my friend and fellow Wallie, Tommy Schwarz of TGO mechanical we installed the Hydrolevel VXT. All is working well. Mad Dog

Great job , Matt .

I'm not a fan of water feeders on steam , but sometimes an exception can be made . Like for old folks who have trouble getting down into the basement . Once they find out the boiler can be almost hands free , they appreciate it immensely . Keep up the great work .
