    spray foam and pex

Looking for a green light to embed pex lines in spray foam.

Home owner has made arrangements to have crawl space ceilings sprayed. the foam used upstairs looks like isaneene but don't know the actual brand of the foam at this point.

Seems like this would be a fairly common occurrence, obviously wires are embedded all the time without issues.

The watts tec. people said no go on onix and said pex was even worse. Uponor said probably not a problem, but contact the foam manufacturer.

Does any one have any input?

Going on 4 years with pex buried here and there in Isoynene.

    Nothing visible anywhere...

    Both,

A bit of extruded plate, panel rad. home runs and some domestic water lines.

Separate question but is there any performance problem with foaming directly over plates? Some air space and a radiant barrier would probably be best, but I'm just looking for a bit of supplemental warming.
