    I have read here ...

that you can pretty much turn any boiler into a combi boiler by simply adding a braze plate HX as a zone. How would the wiring be done to have the zone run on a domestic HW call? would the boiler have to mantain temp all the time? I am thinking about doi ng this w/ a Munchkin Contender....any thoughts? ty,kpc

    Just talking pumping here

Just remember to size the circ that you use for the plate from the boiler properly. You need to figure for the pressure drop through the boiler, the piping and fittings and the pressure drop through the plate.

    WIRING

Well, you can use the DHW priority feature of the Munchkin Contender. It will also put 110volts to the P2 terminal. You would, however, have to put a call for domestic hot water to the DHW sensor connections of the boiler. Please refer to the Vision one diagrams for piping. You may also want to contact your local rep. for the Munchkin Contender.
