Trane vapor system
I am replacing a boiler in a house with a Trane vapor system. My junk guys took the return trap and it's gone. If I install a vaporstat will that eliminate the need for the return trap?0 -
yes
the vaporstat will do just fine..if possible install two stage firing if its a gas burner..that will keep the boiler from cycling on the vaporstat so often.

we use maxitrols
two stage regulators and a vaporstat to trigger it..its energized to drop into low fire..we use sr500-1 models alot..our supply house orders them via a rep called metropac. http://www.maxitrol.com/Regulators/2stageregulators.html
