    My father has passed

My father Richard G Cavanagh passed away on Sunday. Born in 1940 he was a heating mechanic since the late 1960s. He was the most hard working man I ever knew. Always helping other people He worked 7 days a week and answered all calls. He would answer service call even on Thanksgiving and on Christmas if someone was in need. Starting his business in Long Island than moving to upstate NY. He was truly A one of a kind man. Now one of the dead men.

    Blessings

Surely all the blessings he bestowed on others will come back to him. He must have been a wonderful man and you were certainly lucky to have him as a father.

Boon I am very sorry for your loss. I only knew your dad from the stories you've told and I am sure he is with my dad swinging those old cast iron pipe wrenches around in heaven. Godspeed Mr. Cavanagh. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

    Sad

Richard: I'm truly sorry for your loss. It sounds like you were very blessed. It amazes me how much an influence a great father is. They make us who we are. As I get older I keep hearing my father more and more. (in my head). Relive the great memories and don't forget the lessons. And take the time to pass it on.

So sorry for your loss. Way too young, that is for sure.

He sounds like a role model for many of us. May you hold his memory dear, all of you, and may he live on in the lives of those he touched.

From one son of tradesman to another You got my condolenses. Your Dad is actually younger than mine and this does make me think. The best to you and yours at this time. Remember it is the good things that need to be remembered and the living who need the consoling, those who have pasted are in the hands of someone else.

Having lost both Mama and Papa..................................

I can confirm what one of my Heroes said about losing loved ones (to paraphrase)"..you go on...you laugh again....you experience moments of joy, but it is a deep-down pain and loss that you NEVER recover from." Douglas Mac Arthur. I agree. Hang in there my friend and just keep honoring yoour Pop and your family name. Mad Dog

    So sorry for your loss.

My Dad is getting up there in age and sometimes I worry about the inevitable. I talked to him Sunday night after the Redskins upset Dallas. He was on cloud nine. Remember the times you shared. He lives on through you. WW
