Steam radiator leaking at connection

getting cold
Member Posts: 2
I just got my steam radiators back after a small(haha) renovation project. When I reconnected them one of the radiators will not stop dripping from the connection. I have tried to tighten it, reconnect it etc to no avail. It still drips.Any ideas? Is there some sort of gasket I can put in to stop the leak?

You probably need a new valve
maybe the union connection got dinged up- best to replace it if it leaks.

TRY PERMATEX ON GROUND SEAT
If that doesn't work, you need to replace the valve0
