    Buderus G115 and oil filter

    Hello,

I have the Buderus boiler above and wanted to know if anyone here knew what oil filter is used in this system (I'd like to change it myself)? Thanks for any answers!

It depends. Describe the filter that you have. Names, color, numbers.

Many on this site recommend two filters

HO here who has Buderus G115/21 with Riello 40 F3. Many here recommend a 50 or 60 micron filter at the oil tank to remove more bulk material and a finer 10 micron spin-on filter at the burner. It is recommended to have a vaccuum gauge attached to the spin-on so you get a heads up when the filter needs to be replaced. Annual change is generally recommended but with two filters the spin-on could conceivably last longer. Also highly recommended is a tiger loop aerator which the pros could explain to you better.

Also note that Buderus is in the process of amending its recommended setup for Riello burners due to some impingement problems.
