What happened to the ventless fireplace discussion?

It disappeared entirely from the wall.

I did see a bunch of crap postings in there, like a virus had gotten to it or something.

My last question was what type of maintenance am I supposed to do, and what type of contractor should I be hiring/trust to do it?

I bought my house 7 years ago and the tenant's side has one of these ventless fireplaces in it. I didn't know I was supposed to do anything to it.

I shouldn't be surprised, I just learned this year that I was supposed to do maintenance to the hot water heater.

Is there something I'm supposed to do to the refrigerator as well?????

    www.nficertified.org for the nearest gas certified hearth specialist. Make sure you tell them it is ventfree as some techs refuse to service them.
