wine cooler walkin

For me the issue was both cost and space. The non-split was significantly less money, and simplified installation. If you have the money and the space, a split system is definitely much nicer.

    wine cooler walkin

Anybody have experience with a residental wine cooler? About 1000 c.f..What brand? With humidification, I would imagine, because of the 60%-70% humidity required. Thanks!

    Wine Cellar Cooling Units

Go with a whisperKOOL or Wine Guardian. Both companies make a nice product and I have no problems with eithetr brand.

All the best and see you at ABCO in November.

    I'm using breezaire

In a much smaller space, but they make units for 1000 cu ft.

I did a bit of research. Take a look at http://www.galtwine.com/CellarConstruction.html, and call them up to talk. If you order the breezaire through them, they extend the warranty a year, and also provide a temporary replacement unit if necessary. But the breezaires are supposed to be the most reliable of the non-split units.

    Good luck

wine cooling unit, check this out

    http://www.wineguardian.com/

This unit looks like a nice remote unit which I like better than through wall. Good luck. Rose Hill cellars sells these also which they have been around a while.

    Appropos of nothing

the thread title, "Wine Cooler Walkin" reminded me of when I did some HVAC work at a local morgue.

The coroner (or someone) put a sign over one of the larger, non-drawer cold storage rooms that said, "Dead Man Walk-In".
