crud
hello, we do lots of panel rad installs. We just started a job where the Ho want to keep about 1/2 of the old rads. Some of these units are quite large, and the thought of bringing them outside is rather daunting. We will have a stariner to protect the boilers (two wall hungs), so my question do we really need to deal with the crud, after all there won't be lots of water flow to each rad (home run system with 3/8").
Thanks, Gary

I just did...
this... I would flush it out. I was amazed at how much crap came out.I made a wand of 1/2" pex duct taped to a hose and puched a buch of 1/8 holes in the end. It took an hour or so and made a mess... kpc0
