QUICK TRACK TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

1. ~ 1/2" but double check it. 2. No, quiktrak goes to the interior, the first tube channel should be 6" off inside wall. Lay the quiktrak up to the plate and then sheetrock after quiktrak is in. 3. Quiktrak goes over the subfloor and is not a replacement. 4. as long as you are not putting the tube channel under the window I don't see why not. Others here may have varying opinions.

    Quick Track questions

    Hi
I'm an architect interested in installing quick track flooring in my client's home. But I have some technical and structural questions. I'd very much appreciate your responses.
    1. How thick is Quick Track?
    2. Does Quick Track go all the way to the exterior, or does it start on interior? Where exactly does it sit on the floor joists?
    3. Does Quick Track replace the subfloor?
    4. Can windows sit directly on top of it? (this relates to the exteriors question #2)

    Thanks for all your help.

1/2" thick, is an interior product that goes over subfloor. Usually after sheetrock, to protect the tube. If it is hardwood floors try to install the tubing/panel perpendicular to the planks, so tubing is visible while nailing in floors.
