is what you need to add.
The boiler's Net and Square Feet ratings already contain a pick-up factor for this. If you add any more you're oversizing the boiler, which is extremely wasteful.

Steam system pipe sizing question
Hi all, when one has the square footage of steam radiation accounted for, what do I add to account for the steam piping?
I've heard "multipliers" like 1.10% for 1st floor, 1.25% for second floor? In other words, 275 sq.ft of rads X 1.25 multiplier if its a 2 story system????
Any steam guys out here? ;-)
