OT computers

not sure what you're trying to do, but windows has a scientific calculator

start...programs...accessories...calculator...click view and select 'scientific'

however, when I need to do any calculations, i usually run them in a spreadsheet (excel). most spreadsheets have the same funtions and more that are found on a scientific calc. once setup, its reusable.

    A little off topic Computers

Back before windows in the days of DOS you could write your own basic software programs for a quick resolution to a problem. Like conversion etc. Does anyone know of a software package to run under todays windows operating systems that give you a comprehensive scientific calculator? Looking for more than the calculator buried in the windows accessories or utilities section. thanks
