know the water volume per section of an ARCO Sunrad 5" deep x 20" tall rad. Trying to figure the water volume of a system to install anti-freeze.

I just keep adding and mixing until I reach the right mix and charge per gallon. I would think it would be a guess any way if I tried to figure the whole system. You could drain and measure to get a correct number but then you would have to purge the whole system .

It is all drained at this point awaiting a new boiler. I was just trying to figure how much anti-freeze to order.0 -
Antifreeze why?
Its not cheap, is it for freeze protection? If not but you want corrosion inhibitors I like Rhomar.0 -
