injection system hydronic heat

A small injection loop with closely spaced tees goes between the primary and secondary loops and "injects" just enough hot water from the primary to achieve the desired temps on the secondary loop. It's generaly controlled by a Tekmar or similar controller that modulates pump speed and monitors temps on both loops and can contain an outdoor reset control.

    Why so many Circs?

Is this a interface to an existing situation? Why 22 Circulating pumps?

If your Amp draw on one of the circs is .7amps(which is the draw on a Standard taco 007) and you have 22 of these circs that is 22 X .07 = 15.4 amps !!

That is a lot of juice over the live span of a system like this! your electric bill will be higher than needs be.

How about just one circ like an 0011 or even better an Wilo Stratos that will work only at the required Flow/Head at any given system requirements.

Back to your Original Question, yes tekmar is a way of doing this and also Taco has an RMB (prefab primary-secondary plug and play).works great on some systems.
