Since 911 we have visited NYC several times - essentially to look after our daughter medical needs at the Presbyterian hospital. My first ride into the center on the tube was amazing and have since walked the perimeter many times - we have looked at the local fire station remembrances and several other monuments of remembrance. Dan H posted photos of memorials which we keep close. This was a big deal even here in Canada - do not forget.
