lag and overshoot

I am doing an oil to gas conversion on a boiler serving a radiant slab built in the 50's. Customer complains of excessive lag and overshoot during spring/fall. The building is an architectural oddity, all walls being 8" solid concrete and radiant slab being 3/4 copper on 9" centers 6" thick, which serves as a radiant floor above and radiant ceiling on bottom floor. I will be installing a modcon boiler with outdoor reset but am concerned that outdoor reset alone will not be enough to compensate for all that thermal mass. Prior boiler was fitted with an entrol variable temp aquastat. Any suggestions?

I have installed many tekmar 512 tstats on problem jobs, due to swings. The unit learns how to compensate in the factory auto mode ( heat cycle). Try it for a quick fix.0
