Thanks for your help Steamhead, I was a little unsure of the rating I had come up with comparing this radiator to a Triton wall hung, just didn't seem to jive....

    WALL HUNG RADIATOR EDR W/PICS

Hey guys, looking for a square feet EDR rating for a wall/ceiling hung radiator, need this rating to size a new steam boiler. The radiator is 46" long, 15"wide & has 22 sections, I am attatching pics of this radiator, notice on the plugs there is some stamping, looks like it says NR-B CO.Thanks again guys for your help

    That looks like

a single-column rad without the legs. The standard leg height to the center of the tapping for column rads was 4 to 4.5 inches. Subtracting this amount leaves us almost exactly at the height (width) you measured.

Each section of this pattern would have a rating of 1.5 square feet per section. So the rad in the pics would have a rating of 33 square feet EDR.

The "NR&B" on the plug stood for Niagara Radiator & Boiler Co, which later became a part of National Radiator Corp.
