Rheem boiler
My son is about to close on his first house. Its a late 60's ranch on a full basement.
It has a Rheem boiler which, judging at the patina, its the original boiler
It has 2 zones. One for the main floor and one in the basement. Copper finned baseboard.
The boiler is 125,000 input with only ONE burner. My Burnham in my house is 120,000 btu's with 6 burners.
Does anyone know anything about this Rheem boiler? Should my son hold off on new kitchen appliances and buy a new boiler right off the bat?
The fuel source is natural gas. The house is in mid-north Indiana.

Pics?
Jim, can you post some pics? Sure, I would have a contractor come in, do a heat loss calculation & size a new boiler accordingly. Best of luck!
