I just had my annual clean out and the service guy said he changed the nizzle from a .75 GPH to .65 GPH because of the temerature leaving the system to the chimney, over 500 degrees. Does this make sense, will it save oil?

Nozzle
In order to give you a meaningful answer you need to give us the make and model of the boiler or furnace and the make and model of the oil burner. Do you know what the markings were on the previous nozzle?0 -
What?????
What do the results of his combustion test say?
I'm guessing they are posted on a tag by the boiler or in your receipt.... Right? JCA0
