hello,
can someone please explain how LLheaders are more mechanically beneficial compared to basic p/s? I understand the 'hydraulic separation' thing, I'm just not seeing the big picture. In my evil thought process I just see vendors selling more stuff (not that this has ever happened to me in the past....)
thanks, Gary

a couple
thoughts.
Most serve as a multi purpose device. They provide the hydraulic seperation, provide an air removal function, dirt and debris settles to the bottom of the chamber as velocity slows in the large diameter chamber.
When selected properly the engineering is built in as far as diameter, spacing, flow rate, etc.
It a good place for temperature probes for control. They provide a good solid mount for expansion tanks and fill valves.
Some include insulation jackets to limit heat loss. And they all take up much less wall space than a typical piped P/s loop.
Time and material costs are minimized.
