No.I've seen them get warp pretty bad with factory setting
on the fan/limit switch.
Maybe if you can find a stat that would bring on the fan as
soon as there is a called for heat it may stand a chance.
The only other thing you would have issue with is if the blower fan goes out or the customer does not change the filter like they should.
Just for the record 10 inches is what most coil company with plastic pans asked for with oil furnace installation.
You have to love all that coil surface area at times and then times like these.......good luck.

installing a coil on oil furnace old condensing is obsolete international .dont have room for cased coil .old coil condensatepan made out of metal ,will the new case coils be ok sitting on top of fuenace .I have asked wholsealers they are not sure.0 -
