Just add the second sensor to teh tankless HWS outlet and plug it in to the control for that sensor.

I have been installing them for a few years now,I have several customers saving up to 20% with it,but most save 10 to 12%0 -
I have one
I don't know if it saved anything or not, but it did expand the differential of my aquastat, and I do like that.0 -
When installing these on a boiler w/ tankless coil it says to attach a sensor to the hot discharge pipe off the coil. Is this the same sensor that you use off the boiler supply piping? They must sell extra sensors separately?0 -
manager
How does the manager work, Does it post purge the boiler after a call for heat or does it fire the boiler depending on the delta T of supply and return piping?0 -
I think
if you want to use a tankless coil, you have to get a different model, and use another sensor for DHW.
Check your oil usage with that tankless coil. I have one, and I quit using it. It used about 2 gal. of oil a day in the summer.
A guy explained how the heat managers work a few months ago in this forum. If you search you may be able to find it. I didn't understand it.
It seems to me that it lowers the temperature at which your burner comes on, and you keep the high limit up at at least 180°. How it determines when to turn the burner on, I don't know, but it makes the effective differential in the aquastat larger... your burner runs longer and not as often.0
