Which pump is more efficient?
those head & flow requirements put this application out of the stratos' range, I believe the largest one they make (the 3 X 3-40) does 120gpm @ 40 ft of head

Which pump is more efficient?
I'm looking for a circulating pump for a heating water system. Which pump is going to be more efficient:
A.) Vertical multi-stage pump, 196 GPM @ 94'TDH, 7.5 HP, 75% pump efficiency, 3450 RPM
B.) Vertical Inline pump, 196 GPM @ 94'TDH, 10HP, 64% pump efficiency, 1750 RPM
Either pump will be controlled via a VFD.
Thanks!0 -
pump
try the Wilo Stratos it is the most efficient pump on the market and you wont need the VFD it varies on its own. The rep here in Massachusetts is Sweeney Rogers in Taunton Ma.0
