Water heater replacement labor charges

Depends on the situation.
We carry a labor warranty for a one year warranty on any equipment we install.
Is it a product that the contractor normally installs or a lesser quality product that the customer wanted?
Was the customer prompt in payment and someone they wish to continue doing business with?
2 year old failure would require a call to the manufacturer to inquire about a labor allowance regardless of whether it's officially offered or not.

What are your policies for water heater (or any equipment) replacement labor charges when you install the equipment? Especially when an item is only 2 years old.0 -
Heater as per MFG
Depends on manufacturer of heater and whether they are your brand. Labor and other materials chargeable. Heater also if you have no way of getting the replacement free of charge.0
