Great REX in Schaumburg, redux

Since the original REX post has turned into a distance vs. accuracy ecm motor p***ing contest, let's get back to the subject of REX.

This was my first REX. I enjoyed ALL of the seminars, displays, etc. Very informative. Talking with ME about the possibilities of the "electric windows" just about made my head explode.

Besides Lochinvar, where were the boiler manufacturers???

I don't understand. If the only product you sold was to be installed and sold by radiant people, wouldn't you want to be at a RADIANT SHOW??? I am happy with the two lines I sell to my residential customers, but I was hoping to check out other makes and models. Where else would I be able to do this? Certainly not at a wholesalers.

If they don't show at REX, where else would they show? At a show where they share space with scorched air and refrigeration people?

I just don't get it. Why no boiler manufacturers???

    Agreed

I really enjoyed the show too and thought there were some very interesting displays. The seminars I attended we're great.

If you're in this area, or even if not, consider checking out next years ASHRE show. It's back in Chicago again for 2009. http://www.ahrexpo.com/ There will be more boiler manufacturers there than you can imagine!

My only dissappointment with REX, I would have liked to have met more people from this site. Maybe next time around we can arrange our own "meet and greet for wallies" sometime through out the event. I'll buy the first round ;)

    Rich,

I too missed the traditional Wall-E get together. They've been a blast in the past.
