Lylphon Radiator Valve

"Sylphon"?

If it is, this might be a Webster Vapor system.

    Lylphon Radiator Valve

I have a homeowner attempting to redo an old house from the 1910's. They have radiators that have Lylphon Packless valves. They want to keep everything as original as possible. Does anyone know where I can look, in order to get the valves in working order or repacked?

    Thank You

    Pics

I am pretty sure that the valve is Lylhpon. I hope that the picture helps.

    It's Sylphon

they just use an unusual S.

The Warren Webster company owned Sylphon for some time, so those valves were probably made by Webster. If you look at your radiator traps (assuming they're original) and at any ancient hardware installed in the piping near the boiler, you'll probably find the Webster name.

Tunstall should have rebuilds for those valves- www.tunstall-inc.com .
