The answer is OLD! Get rid of it, that burner dates the boiler to the mid to late fifties, possibley older. Sell them a new system!

    how old

    im a hvac guy /plumber having discussion about age of boiler with quiet automatic burner name plate, someone(my boss)wants to put in gas conversion burner and chamber and chimney liner on this boiler,i told him he`s crazy we should replace this steam boiler. anybody know when they went out of business, how old do you think it is.checked libary here found some listings but not the 136s that was on boiler plate any help would be appreciated

    I used to sell them at a wholesaler I worked at up to around 1960. I'm nor certain when they closed their operation.
