The boiler still works by the heating thermostat, right?
Just separate and cap the two wires to the aquastat.

Or

Turn the low limit all the way down.

Depending on which control you have.

    tankless coil to be deleted what control strategy?

    My customer wants to replace his failed tankless coil in his oil boiler with an electric HWH. Can the existing boiler aquastat be made to function as a cold start control? Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
