Riello Vs. Beckett Fuel Economy

Will you save any $$$ using one burner over another??


Would it be a significant amount of $$$ that you would notice or are we talking 30-40 for the whole heating season??

I may be wrong

I remember years ago that the Riello had a higher flame temp than the other burners, but I asked a rep in Hartford this year about that and he said they are all about the same now. So it seems to me that there would be no real difference in oil usage. Of course some burners seem to work better than others in different applications.

I think the Riello may use less electricity though. How much less? No idea.

Riello motor is rated at 2.2 amps,the Beckett at 1.7. The Riello TFI is 12 seconds shorter.I think the Beckett would use less power but it's so close I don't think it would be a factor either way.

Is that for all their equipment or just the 2 stage?

I see that T-Pride has a fuel cost calculator on their web site. In the examples they use .99 as the price per gallon of oil. Time to update?
