I have a customer who wants to install some used steel radiators in his basement. The problem is I don't know what the BTU output of them are. I have never sized them before. They are about 38 inches tall and about 7.5inches deep per section. They are flat steel on each side. how do I calculate the output of each one.

Look Above Under Resources
Go to the "Resources" link above and click on "Library." From there, click on "Radiators" and see if you can find any of your rads in any of the literature there. I found most of my radiators in the pdfs for "American Standard Radiators and Convectors" and "US Capitol Radiators." I hope that helps.0 -
They might be
Shaw-Perkins pressed steel radiators, which appear in Dan's book "E.D.R.".
