something like the system in this thread?

If so, it's pretty standard Webster Vapor. One of the best systems anyone ever came up with.

Webster low pressure steam system aka Webster System Radiation

This system is original to my 1922 home. I'm looking for a manual to learn how to properly maintain the system. Two issues are:
    1) Replacing the steam traps
    2) How to vent the system if necessary

    More Information Please

It would be helpful to post some pictures of your boiler and near boiler piping. Has your boiler been changed? What model boiler? Nothing better than an old steam system. On this website go to RESOURCES and LIBRARY where you will find a lot of good information about old steam systems
