takagi questions

ve two different Takagi's giving the same error message (4 blinks on it's lil' red light). These 4 blinks of the red light in the manuel indicate two problems. Either the Fan or Pressure Switch. If you trip the breaker that powers the Takagi it will reset and work fine for the next ten times and shut down again with this same reading. I cleaned out the Takagi and drain ports and still the same response. Any clues? Anyone else seen this? Thanks, Michael

4 blinks
Besides what you indicated the fan troubleshooting says to check the fan motor wiring for any moisture, I would add to clean the fan and housing. For the pressure switch check that dipswitch 7 is in the down position for indoor installation and up for outdoor installation. Then check venting for any obstructions. My comment, is you have a backdraft damper make sure is swings free. And my comment, if you have one running and no trouble take a magnehelic and see exactly what pressure is needed to close the switch and what you are getting from the blower, I do this with all types of equipment. After that I would call Takagi with the exact model and serial number.0
