You're talking about setting up to maintain a minimum boiler temperature as opposed to a cold start.
The cold start is much better as maintaining temperature is highly inefficient under most circumstances, especially in a residential setting.

I can enable the cold start on a Honeywell 8124A by pulling out the blue wire correct?0 -
At $5/gallon
why not go for a complete solution?

What would that solution be?0 -
I attached a file
An ODR system, either HW or Tekmar would address the problem as well optimize the performance of the system 24/7/365.You should see a 15-20% savings

Real nice controls, I really like to buy one. Big-bucks though. Cheaper to pull out the blue wire or set the low limit to 100.0 -
\"Big-bucks though.\"
Not if saves 200 gallons/year @$5/gallon.The "big bucks" is in feeding an inefficient system!
