Zurn Pex Question

I'm currently having fin-tube base board installed into my 2-family. The contractor piped these in using Zurn Pex through the floor. Some of these go through holes drilled into the floor directly over crawl space area.
My question is, can I spray in "great stuff" foam insullation into the hole to seal it up? I just want to know if there is potential for chemical breakdown of the PEX. I sent an email to "Bill" who's commented here regarding Zurn PEX but havn't received a response.
I've read some colorful comments regarding PEX on this site over the last couple days (some making me nervous). So far so good with my new system...although there isn't any water in it yet!
Cheers,
-Greg
