utility pump

A Wayne Porta-Pump for years for HWH draining, etc. Used to use it back in the day for filling the early solar systems; will build a little pressure, but as with any of them will blow the shaft seal when you ask too much of it.

    So I have a little

utility pump that I bought to speed up water heater draining. It helps but not a lot. It makes whole lot of noise though. Today I tried to use it to pump Reverse osmosis filtered water into a boiler that is new. The existing water source is a well with some water that is the meanest I have seen. I actually posted pics of the five year old munchkin that had holes in the heat exchanger as a result of the aggressive water and a bad T+P valve allowing fresh water constantly. So I had hoped for a little bit of pressure out of my utility pump to fill and flush the system with the clean water. No dice, It pushed a whopping 2 PSI. So what do you use for a good utility pump that can actually create some pressure on its own.
