Tough day today

I ran into a contractor friend today and he gave me some news that hit me like a ton of bricks, he is battling cancer and has taken a turn for the worse. He is a great friend and it is really difficult to see this big, tough (I'm not kidding about this) strapping guy in this fight. Please remember him in your prayers. I'm not going to post his name online but God will know who you are praying for.

It has really put things in perspective and shows how fragile life is. One thing I have never had too much of is friendship. Thanks Gang - Tim

My thoughts are with you, him, and his family. The best thing you can do is continue to be a friend, don't be a stranger. He and his family will need all the support you can give to get them through this, whatever the outcome. Hoping for the best.

Not to trump you, but it was a tough one for me today too. Just found out I lost a brother to a car accident. Yeah, tough day today.

First of all Paul, I'm so sorry to hear you lost a brother, I have four brothers and the thought of losing one of them is overwhelming. I will remember your advice and will be there for my friend. Thank you for sharing it with me in spite of your own loss.

Many thanks to Dan as well, having the Wall and a network of friends supporting each other is so helpful. Like Wetstock, Dan is the only person I know that can bring it all together.
