    Our fuel oil pre-purchase price in Philly area is $4.50/ gal. I hear the price caps are around $4.63. I'm not sure of the retail price. What are your's and where do you think it will peak for this winter? How is it comparing with Nat. gas, propane, coal and electric? Gonna dig deep to keep the boiler stoked this year.

    belong to an energy co-op here in NH. Just locked in propane prices at $2.72/gallon (min. 700 gals). Last year it was $1.89.
    propane has about 2/3 the energy density, so this compares to $4.08/gal oil.
