There is a thread I started a few down from this one with some diagrams. You can check that out. I use Heliodyne flat plate collectors and Sunda Evacuated tubes. I love the Heliodynes, I have some issues with the Sunda. For tanks I use Vaughn Solar sepco tanks (they have removable heat exchangers, but these things are f'ing heavy) and Oventrop stainless steel (very expensive). For controller been using Resol BS Plus. Outdoor insulation for piping HTArmaflex. Dowfrost HD for antifreeze protection in 50/50 solution mixed with water.
Good luck

solar heating
Our company has done hot water, steam and radiant heating for years. I am interested taking the next step into the use of solar energy to supplement systems we install and maintain. I am looking for principal and practical information and direction from others who are presentely involved in solar usage. I want to hear about suppliers and products others are happy with. Thanks and enjoy the summer, Tom.0 -
