Watts Radiant stainless steel manifolds offer balancing and flow meters, soon the flow meter side of the manifold (supply) will have shut-off capability-regards big bill

Which balancing manifolds are you using?
I've been using Uponor traditionally, but I know there are others out there.
Caleffi looks nice but the supplier I have to go through is going to want my first-born child for 17 pieces plus telestats and other hardware.
Not to cause hard feelings, I'll take off-board answers by email if you prefer.

I'm liking Watts' stuff so far.
Has anyone used Emetti? I've seen them at the bigger trade shows and can order them directly, but don't know how stable the company is.

manifolds
I have always like using Viega manifolds. thay come in brass and stainless. The press fitting adapters fit in very nicely0 -
Zurn
I have been using Zurn for a long time now. Very pleased.0 -
I'm using
Uponor so that's not much help, but I've seen Rehau at a few trade shows and really like their stuff. Looks to be very nice quality and has some neat features. If I had a local distributor I'd have already used them.
Whoever I use I like to have good local support for the product. Good Luck, Rich L0 -
Uponor Manifolds
John,
Uponor has a few options when it comes to balancing a system, manifolds sizes and accessories. You can call me direct so I can give you info. 631-930-9962 - Wales Darby.0 -
Thanks, Chris...

make all the runs the same length an forget the manifold
We just make all the runs the same length and then we don't need to balance the tubes.
But to answer your question we have used the Rehau manifolds here lately when we have gone in an fixed a few poor installs. They work very nice and we have an awesome rep up here so that helps a lot. They all work about the same so I would just buy which ever one has a good Sales Rep as that's what makes or breaks the product.0 -
That's
funny!

Simple is always better, Nathan.
I agree with your theory, but here we have the same floor space with different heating loads. Flow rate will have to be our variable.
I'll look into Rehau, though.
