My Little Grand Nephew Martin Herzog

Thanks so much to all wallis, for your kind words and pryaers.

I am an EMT for over 30 years. I have seen so much in medical field, from birth (BTW I have deliverd over 30 babies, so far) to the most horrific accidents. Medical, trama, ami, cpr, mci, WTC bombing, but nothing prepares you when someone so close to you is the victim.

It was Friday afternoon, July the 4th., my nephew decided to spend the weekend at his parents house in Mt. Kisco. He packed up the car with his wife and the 3 kids, and off they went. On the way on the Saw Mill River Parkway, the car suddenly turned over. The state police still can't figure out exacly what had happened. He was not speeding,and it wasn't rainning.

Little Martin had to be Medivac To Westchester Medical Center, with severe head injury, barely clinging to life. The rest were trasnsported by ambulance to WMC in very serious condition.

The doctors at WMC did the best they could have done, but on wednesday July 9, Little Martin succumd to his injury and return his pure soul to heaven.

The funeral was held the same day. It was attented by over 300 people. He was eulogized by 7 or 8 Rabbis. His father was relased from the hospital so could attend the funeral

We all agreed that an angel was in our midst, we will miss him a lot.

In the meantime the rest of the family needs our support and prayers.

The father, my nephew, has some broken ribs which punctured his lungs,and a broken wrist. The 2 year old girl has spine injury.

Dan sign off a lot of times his posts by saying HUG YOUR KIDS. How true it is one nver knows what the next minute may be.

our tradition teaches us that when a child dies,
it's was the reincarnated soul of a saint whose soul
just had to come back here to fix a tiny blemish,
before it could fully ascend, and anyone who knew
this kid would have agreed that he was extraordinarily
special!!!

so a saint passed thorough out lives if only but for a moment, we mourn for our loss but are happy for him
