I recently installed a Weil-Mclain Ultra series boiler and when I tried to use a Superstore indirect water heater i was told it was not compatible when the Ultra series boilers and that I could only use Weil-McLain Plus series water heaters. I was wondering if anyone out there has heard of this and if it is true?

Never heard of that
wonder who said it? But for what it's worth, I believe the W-M indirect is a re-badged Triangle Tube SMART model, which is also a good unit.

Not true
Depends on the head loss of the Superstore, which would dictate the circulator required for proper ad adequate flow.0
