Dependent or water and surrounding air temp but at 150º water and 70º surrounding air temp the heat loss is about 37 btu's per lineal ft.

1\"copper pipe heat loss per foot
Hi,
Trying to find out how much heat is lost on 1"(unisulated) copper piping (hard and Soft) per foot. I have some long runs from solar collectors to the mech. Rooms. It will be insulated but I still would like to know for no insulation (or both).
Thanks.

Perfect. Thank you.
Where did you get those diagrams? If there is a book that shows all that kind of stuff I would love to get my hands on one.
Many thanks,
