Those brackets will only fit steel radiators (I could be wrong though). Thanks for the feed-back. We're all in this together.

Radiator Brackets
Radiator brackets for wall-hung radiators are usually thrown away when the radiator is removed for salvage.
They are not, to our knowledge, still made.
Therefore, All Steamed Up, Inc. has opened a foundry division to reproduce brackets for wall-hung radiators.
Below, is a picture of a cast-iron bracket for a radiator that we managed to rescue.

A Silicon Mold Was Made
of the bracket and casting resin was poured into each half of the mold.
Alignment pins were set into one of the resin halfs.
A sand casting flask consisting of a cope and drag was built. We melted up some aluminum alloy (a broken Beckett oil burner frame) and cast the mold.
The mold was cut away from the sprue and runners and finished.

I know what you mean, Gordo. I have trouble finding the brackets too. They are worth as much as the radiator.

Worth as Much as the Radiator
Indeed, or perhaps it is worth more, as one can see several wall radiators at the salvage yards, but no brackets. I suspect they appear as such an ordinary, prosaic item, they are simply discarded by the salvage crew.

Gordo, What Are You Trying To Do?
Are you trying to put the Chinese foundries out of business? You could be starting a trade war. It is not going to be pretty.0 -

Casting in Aluminum
is very forgiving. Cast iron requires a copula furnace. One day, maybe...

Indeed Mr. Gill
we are considering the production of Broomell ells. This would most likely require subcontracting out the production of the pattern and core box.

Gordo, Look at This!
Here is a company in Massachusets that makes steam radiator brackets for their steel steam radiators. Have you seen these?

It's Rust oleum metallic antique brass, just one coat. I was thinking of using them for that peerless wall rad but I may sell it off. If I do then I'll send you these if you need them.0 -
Thank You
I hope do you get to use them. You could send us one and we could make a mold of it, then return the bracket.

For your pleasure I can do so. I won't be using these for a while. These were specifically for a Gurney block style wall rad. They fit the A&R peerless perfectly. I can send you one for your mold. Just email your address to me and take as long as you need.0 -
