    Any opinions on the Ambassador Axia gas combo boiler?

    I have a customer who's house is a small New England Cape currently heated with an older oil-fired boiler and tankless. He is switching to gas, but does not want to go for his lungs on a super high efficiency boiler with an indirect, so I'm thinking about quoting this Axia (Cosmo). Just wondering if anyone has had any expeirence with it?

    Am currently installing 2 for a client on a 2 unit condo assoc. property. Had not heard that they had made them and homeowner was sold on purchasing and supplying them. Haven't fired them off yet, waiting for gas hook-up, but they piped in nice, good looking package. Things I am wary of: A)
    "lifetime warranty" is actually very limited when you get into the nuts and bolts of it. B) I wouldn't want to have to replace the prv given it's location C)Ambassador supplies a "flow regulator" with the package for domestic cold supply

    I piped it according to manf. specs and will post a pic when its fired off.
