I am a homeowner looking to have my crawlspaces better insulated. One contractor said I should have p-2000 installed instead of spray foam because foam is so expensive. Is he right?

whats p 2000?
what kind of foundation do you have?
how deep does the foundation go into the ground?
is it always dry or sometime damp?0 -
p2000 has NO rated r-value. Their new brochures don't even mention r-value.
It has not been tested to any recognized standards.
The tests results that were done were not to be used publicly, and the testing agency (Intertek) has reminded them of this.
The company that makes the foam for them questions their claims.
It doesn't have a flame rating, so it needs to be covered with drywall. To be fair, I don't know about foam.
P-2000 ain't cheap.
Anybody from P-2000 wants to debate the points, bring it on.

but,
what is it?
I do not know of any foams with fire ratings(proofings)? they're basically plastics.
open cell, closed cell?
ADDED:
Ok I found it, looks interesting, have to read more. off hand probably similar R value compared to similar foam/foil products.0
