It is a sad day for the sporting world as Jim McKay has passed away. I always enjoyed the Olympic Games even more when he was wrapping up the events or broadcasting a human interest story. And who could forget Munich? I still enjoy watching some old reruns of Wide World of Sports because nothing today compares to it. God rest your soul, Jim. Thanks for the memories.

    We didn't have 300 channels of non-stop sports back in my childhood. We had ABC and Jim McKay on Sundays "Spanning The Globe" He is a legend...
