    Wow!

Here in the NE it went over 90* today and humid, and will be for the next few days!.
I usually don't turn on the ArtCool 'til August. But today it was on all day, and I couched in front of it all day too.
Must be getting older, the heat just zapped all my strength today, and taking longer to adjust.

    Stay cool.

it has been raining here and refuses to warm up. We have been in the 40's at night forever. The tomatoes are still pretty small but the lettuce & spinach love it...
Just a guy running some pipes.
  • getting older? ;)

You must be pushing 30 right? No, I've found the first good heat always kicks my butt until I get acclimated. I go through the same thing at the beginning of every season and wonder how I'm going to survive another one, so far so good! If I'm counting correctly this is my 27th season coming up. :)

wave of A/C calls are going to come tomorrow. 94 yesterday here in Weston CT. Lucky me, I was hanging a Laars Mascot in a dirt crawl. For once, wanted to stay IN!

My schedule's going to shot to @#$$. Again. I have to go in double fisted w/ 410 AND 22 gear.

    In Baltimore

it was 98 yesterday and going to be the same today and NOAA is forecasting 100 tomorrow. Power companies are smiling with their new rates. There is so much haze in the air visibility on the water was poor where were out by the Bay Bridge. Time to return to Maine, it is just too hot here.
  • Ahhhh,,,

    I feel cooler already! LOL...

So far all my stuff is holding together! ;)

    Overtime in S.E. Michigan

I saw a lot of a/c contractors working yesterday, making the green. Why not? It's been in the 90s with humidity to match. Nice to see some of these guys making some money for a change.

    Yep!

Hot here too in DC. I worked most of Sat and took a call after church today. Phone was ringing just now as I walked in the door. Time to make some hay. WW

    It's supposed to break

Tuesday night after the storms roll thru. Mid 80s/mid 60s after that. Can't wait, this weekend has been a bit rough.

Maine Doug, Its very hot and very humid here in Maine also. Also, a air quaility advisory has been issued. Witnessed the future of our country graduting today here in Wells. I was pumped when my cousin goes to college for electrical engineering. He made my day.

    heat wave

We worked through the weekend (with a water cooler nearby) Outside all day Sat & Sunday building a new driveway. My excavator overheated, my truck was running hot, and wouldn't hardly dump- something about 100 degrees outside, and I don't have a hydraulic cooler on it.
So we went all day with 1/2 - 2/3 loads. Meanwhile my son was pushing off and grading in a Cat with AC- no issues there.
The good news is we're used to the heat now, the bad news- I'm not looking forward to tomorrow.

    It is always a

thrill when you are part of something like that. I am enjoying my granddaughter here as we do the alphabet and counting. We visit the Science Center, Library, Zoo, National Aquarium, play park just a block away. She likes riding in PaPa's jeep, especially with her dog, a 160lb Saint.

Congrats to your cousin. Electrical Engineers will be much in demand for new power plants and power grid with this heat.

    Remember

Remember a few months ago when we were all wondering where our global warming had gone? I promised myself I wouldn't complain about the first 90°F+ days in NH, and I was close, but I'm not going to complain.....even though it's hazy, hot, humid and horrible today.

    I personally do it...

for the money. :) The storm from the mid west just arrived to break the heat wave. Praise the lord and pass the ammunition. I been working since it hit and I was getting punchy. I spent 10 minutes looking for my bluetooth just to find it was in my ear. :O I could use a break. WW

    coil cleanin

is what I've been doing, the heat came and all the cotton seed, pollen, and everything else let go and plugged all the outdoor coils. Just remember to check the indoor coil as well, especially in coolers. Stay cool......Greg
